Sue Turner is a CA Medical Board Licensed Midwife. She is also a graduate of the National College of Midwifery and currently a preceptor for the NCM. She has attended births in various settings including home, birth center and the hospital.
Other certifications and training includes Neonatal Resuscitation, CPR, IV Certification and Fetal Monitoring. Sue has appeared on TLC and NBC, several radio talk shows, and has been interviewed by various other media She has held a number of birth related events featuring speakers such as Dr. Marsden Wagner (WHO), Ina May Gaskin (The Farm) and Dr. Mayer Eisenstein (Homefirst) to name a few. Sue believes that each and every baby is a blessing and a gift from God. She is a wife and mother also.
Robyn graduated from the National College of Midwifery and passed her California licensing exam this past summer.
Robyn has worked with several midwives in the Los Angeles area gaining experience, and did an apprenticeship in Utah, at a high volume birth center. A wife and mother of three children all born into the hands of midwives, she has great awareness and insight for the needs of our families.
Darcy Wronkiewicz is a certified doula (CD(DONA)) and lactation consultant (CLEC) serving families in Ventura, Santa Barbara and adjacent cities.
Darcy also teaches Birthing From Within birth classes in Ventura. As a lactation consultant, she specializes in working with new families to get their breastfeeding relationship off to a great start. Darcy lives in Ventura with her husband and three children - all of whom were born at home under the care of the Ventura Birth Center midwives.
